Our headliner and MC, local poet Jess Alton, has a warm, inclusive, and open-hearted creativity. Bring your latest writing (or an old favorite), a few friends, and speak your truth to some new folks. Sip & Ceramics with Rebecca Johnson

Mars Hill ceramicist Rebecca Johnson invites you and your friends to this popular class. Decorate your own custom trinket bowls with gorgeous decals and ceramic paints. Each participant gets three to play with! Becca will fire them and bring them back for pickup in a week. (Shipping available for an extra charge.)

Phoenix Yoga with Fuller Crowley

Feeling chilly? How’s some sweet and spicy yoga sounding right about now? Come feel your strength, build some heat, and restore your equilibrium. Fuller is a classically trained yoga instructor and has been teaching around the country since 2004. She believes that every movement is accessible in one way or another, especially if you have sense of humor. Fuller provides a nonjudgmental, relaxed, and often surprising atmosphere for practice. Ukulele Lessons with Gregg Scott

Absolute beginners and all levels are welcome to this popular class series with longtime ukulele musician and instructor Gregg Scott! Warm, funny, and easy-going, Gregg has mostly taught in Asheville and beyond, bringing the lighthearted sound of the ukulele to many communities. Bring your own ukulele—no baritones, please!—to class, or Gregg might have a couple to borrow. You’ll be playing a whole song when you’re done!
