What does ARTSOUP mean?

Our name is an acronym that stands for “Artists Revitalizing Their Society of Underpinning Patronage.” We believe that artists have great power to benefit society at all levels! Our aim is to refresh the classical concept of patrons supporting their local artists, i.e., providing an underpinning to do their work.

What are your hours?

We have regular new hours! Please come see us:
T (10-6), W (10-5), Th (10-6), F (10-5), Sat (10-5). We’re closed Sundays and Monday except for classes and workshops. Check those out!

May I show my art at ARTSOUP or teach a class?

Is ARTSOUP a nonprofit?

Yes, we are! That means your donations are tax deductible and that we really appreciate your financial support! :)

What else has been in that historic building?

As far as we know, 42 North Main Street was a pharmacy until 2010, an antique shop with ice cream parlor, and a hardware store at some point. Let us know if you know more about its long history!
